Playing the music is easy. Describing what ‘kind’ of music we play is more difficult, as our tastes are varied. Our song choices range from those with prominent vocal harmonies (The Civil Wars, Kasey Chambers, Gail Wade, The Wailin' Jennys, Allison Krauss, and Mad Agnes), to more familiar folk/rock artists (Simon and Garfunkle, Jonathan Edwards, Aztec Two Step, Dan Fogelberg, Joni Mitchell, and James Taylor), to our own versions of up-tempo songs you’d never expect to hear from an ‘unplugged’ folk band (Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, the Beatles, Amity, and yes, even War). There’s even some of our own originals in the mix. It’s the variety of music that creates the fun for us. Our listeners often ask enthusiastically, “I love that song! What song was that!?” when hearing a lesser known tune, and sing along with the ones they know by heart.
